These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Brides by Richa and clients booking makeup services.

By booking a service with Brides by Richa, you agree to the terms set out below between Brides by Richa and you, the Client(s). If you are the main contact of a group booking, it is your responsibility to ensure you have shared this document with all relevant parties.

TERMS & CONDITIONS - THE BASICS

1. Booking & Deposits

A booking is only confirmed once a non-refundable deposit has been received.

The deposit secures your event date and time and will be deducted from the final balance.

Dates cannot be held without a deposit.

2. Payments

The remaining balance must be paid before or on the agreed date outlined in your booking confirmation.

Accepted payment methods will be provided at the time of booking.

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking.

3. Trials

Bridal trials are recommended but not mandatory.

Trials allow us to explore your desired look and ensure everything runs smoothly for the event day.

Trial appointments are charged separately unless stated otherwise.

4. Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.

Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made close to the event date may still require partial or full payment depending on the circumstances.

5. Changes to Bookings

If you need to change the date, time, or number of services booked, we will do our best to accommodate where possible.

However, availability cannot be guaranteed for changes made after the booking is confirmed.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients must inform Brides by Richa of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that may affect the use of makeup or hair products.

Brides by Richa cannot be held responsible for reactions where this information has not been disclosed.

7. Travel & Early Start Times

Brides by Richa is a mobile service and will travel to your chosen location on the day of your event.

Travel within 15 miles may be included in your quote. Locations outside this area may incur an additional travel fee, which will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Where parking charges, tolls, or venue access fees apply, these will be the responsibility of the client.

For bookings that require an early start time (before 7:00am), an early morning fee may apply due to the extended working hours required. This will be discussed and agreed upon prior to confirming your booking.

Travel times, preparation schedules, and start times will be carefully planned in advance to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day of your event.

If a booking requires overnight accommodation due to distance or extremely early start times, this will be discussed and agreed in advance with the client.

8. Delays

Clients are responsible for ensuring all members of the booking party are ready at their scheduled time.

Delays may result in adjustments to the service schedule.

9. Photography & Portfolio

Brides by Richa may take photographs of completed work for use on the website, social media, or marketing materials.

If you would prefer that images are not shared publicly, please inform us in writing.

10. Liability

Brides by Richa will take all reasonable care when providing services.

However, we cannot be held liable for:

Allergic reactions where information has not been disclosed
Delays caused by circumstances outside our control
Loss or damage to personal belongings

Minimum Booking Requirement

Due to high demand during peak wedding season (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays), Brides by Richa may require a minimum number of services or minimum booking value to secure these dates.

This ensures adequate time is reserved to provide the highest level of service for each booking.

If your booking falls below the minimum requirement, you may still secure the date by paying the minimum booking value.

Bridal Party Preparation

A schedule will be provided prior to the wedding day to ensure everything runs smoothly.

All members of the bridal party must be ready and available at their allocated time slot with prepared skin unless otherwise advised.

Delays caused by members of the booking party may result in shortened services or services being declined if time does not allow.

Unforeseen Circumstances

In the unlikely event that Brides by Richa is unable to attend due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond control, every effort will be made to arrange a trusted professional artist of equal standard to fulfil the booking.

If a replacement cannot be arranged, any payments made (excluding the trial where applicable) will be refunded.

Exclusive Booking

For larger bridal bookings, Brides by Richa may reserve the entire morning or day exclusively for the bridal party to ensure a calm, relaxed and high-quality experience.
